Official information and derived timetables

TransitTH uses station information, first and last trains, and service intervals from MRTA, BTS, EBM and NBM, station-specific SRTET timetables, and the supplied Airport Rail Link timetable to support ten rail lines.

Displayed departures are calculated estimates for travel planning, rather than dispatch records or live service information. Check the official sources below for current operating information.

Journey and transfer estimates

Journey estimates use the next calculated departure at each segment. Published operating information does not identify individual trains, so additional waiting may be included between stops.

Directional travel-time estimates determine the time between stations. Connection estimates vary by pair from 1–8 minutes. Tha Phra platform changes take 2 minutes; Pink Line main-line/branch changes at PK10 take 1 minute. Departures after midnight remain part of the preceding service day.

Dark and Light Red use SRTET station tables retrieved on 4 October 2026. The page states no effective date or separate service-day schedules, so the published schedule is applied to all day groups as a planning assumption. Check special-day service with the operator.

Airport-bound ARL times use the supplied timetable effective 22 April 2019. Suvarnabhumi → Phaya Thai is an estimated return timetable using user-supplied assumptions: airport arrivals + 4-minute turnaround, restricted to airport departures from 05:30–24:00. Opening services start at 05:30 with 15-minute intervals until the first turned train; a final 00:00 departure is added. Supplied reverse travel offsets add up to 26 minutes. Phaya Thai times are terminal arrivals, not boarding times. The return estimate is not an operator-published timetable, and the historical source date does not establish current validity.

Holiday calendar

Holiday calendar is maintained for 2026. For other years, choose a service-day override. Saturday and Sunday follow the published service-day categories; shared weekend intervals use the same schedule for both days.

The calendar uses Bank of Thailand announcements and government holidays. Operators may set different special-day service; override the service day in journey options when needed.

How timetable estimates are calculated

  1. Analyse published first and last trains, frequency bands and service-day categories.
  2. Calculate intermediate departures from frequency bands and use directional travel times to estimate times at each station.
  3. Order departures and handle after-midnight services, then combine the calculated timetable with waiting and connection times for journey planning.
